Desert For Ever is a highly layered and complex audio work, in which different levels of processing overlap. In the background remain the rustling of fans, calls of battle horns, slowed-down zaghrouta, electrical hums, breaths, and environmental recordings, over which emerges the superimposition of the second part and its reverse of Ohio, a work composed by Giacinto Scelsi in 1966 for four string quartets.
The result is an extremely dense track that drives sound with a propulsive force toward saturation of the spectrum, in a continuous stimulation and reinforcement of the sonic material.
Through a constant sense of intensification and accumulation, the narrative structure converges toward a horizon that seems to attract and renew an indivisible and ever-evolving energy.
